my first time in Berlin for the fashion week was quite overwhelming. Everyone is rushing from one show to another, it gets really busy and loud.
I love the atmosphere of this big city life and I imagined fashion week exactly like this. Attending some fashion shows and meeting new people everywhere, was part of it which I really enjoyed buuuuut there was hardly enough time getting to know everyone in a deeper way besides the usual hello, what are you doing, what are your plans, okay need to rush, thanks bye.
Since I strive for more deeper connections with people I met some bloggers for a private shoot and had enough time getting to know them more in a more relaxed way. First I met Vicky from Bikinis & Passports on Wednesday for shooting this hell of an outfit in the Soho House Berlin.
Look at these palazzo pants and this matching scenery. I guess I will still swoon over this shoot for a very long time.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I did !

During one of my latest shoots with my lovely model Jasmin, I tried something completely new.
If there is one thing I learnt at a very early stage of my business, it is pushing yourself forward continuously.
I have never tried filming before, so please be gentle with your critics on my first video which I love sharing with you today.
If you never try, you’ll never know-that is what they say, right?
So here we go with a little insight of this shoot during sunset.

When Marina joined me during my time in Tulum we couldn’t just shoot one scene. Honestly we shot about 4 hours straight. This is the cool thing when you’re working as a creative, you can go and do whatever your heart screams for, because it is you who decides. And we both were completely lucky to enjoy in this scenery. I always intended to do a beach boudoir shoot, because don’t we all feel so amazingly good at the beach? And whenever we feel good, the pictures turn out even better. So here we go with another shoot straight from paradise.
I told you there is still something special coming up and here we are!
When I met Jessie in Tulum I also took the opportunity to do a little interview with her about her own marriage. Jessie got married in exactly the same year as I did and her fashion expertise made it super interesting for me to ask her some questions about her wedding a few years ago.
So for all fashionista brides to be, take a seat and enjoy this talk

Maybe you already know I am a sucker for the most simplest things. Pasta with tomato sauce. Water with lemon. White tees and black jeans. Or a girl with the most perfect black bathing suit. When it comes to composition I don’t need much. The simplest things get me straight when I see them. When we arrived in Tulum I knew this is the perfect place for simple shoots which have it all. When Marina texted me she will arrive in Tulum in a few days I thought she was just kidding me. But she wasn’t. Everything came together and we shot our way through this afternoon and almost couldn’t stop. When people ask me why I work during my vacation, I answer it is no work for me at all. I just envisioned my ideas at a place where I felt so free, because everything was so simple. And that’s why I am simply in love with my work.
Recently I enjoyed a short time off and flew to New York City. It was my third time in the city and I will never get enough of it. You will find me there at least once a year. I have to go there to feel alive and to refuel my batteries in between.
I guess only New York lovers will understand this feeling.
This time was even more magical. I had the chance to meet and shoot the lovely Caro Daur. Needless to say that this was a dream coming true. You will never hear my heart beating faster than me standing in front of the New York Edition Hotel picking her up.
I am so delighted to show you these pics straight from NYC.
